- Abstract
The article features Laura L. Sullivan, professor of mechanical engineering at Kettering University. She serves as an advisor to the Engineers Without Borders (EWB). She started the EWB chapter at Kettering in 2006 and developed a potable water supply in the village of Estanque de Leon in northern Mexico. Sullivan and her students also developed a water purification project in Vukuzenzele, KwaZulu Natal in South Africa.
