- Title
Plants Inspire New System for Storing Solar Energy.
- Abstract
The article focuses on a process to store solar energy developed by researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge. It is cited that the development was inspired by the process of photosynthesis in plants. It says the new system could help to make solar power a mainstream source of energy. Also noted is that a catalyst that consists of cobalt metal, phosphate and an electrode placed in water is the significant component in the process.
