Built in 2021, Promega Kornberg Center, named after the Nobel Prize-winning biochemist Arthur Kornberg, supports product and technology development in life science research, cellular and molecular biology, genetic identity, clinical diagnostic and scientific applications as well as a training center. The threestory Kornberg Center's energizing architectural design bridges office and meeting spaces with advanced laboratories to foster collaboration and connection, inspiring inventive thinking and continued scientific advancement. The 280,000 ft2 (85 344 m2) building, located in Fitchburg, Wis., colocates seven research and development groups dispersed throughout the campus into one building, with the design strongly emphasizing occupant comfort, air quality, building performance and energy conservation.
