BACnet Goes Green.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article reports on the tie-up of Morguard Investments with the Building Automation Control Networks (BACnet), for the automation of its City Centre complex in Toronto, Ontario. The company wanted to integrate the building's control of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), lightning, access control, and security systems. This move is due to the goal of the company to be certified as a Go Green building by the Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada (BOMA Canada). An overview of the web-based BACnet control system chosen by Morguard to form the core of its building automation system function is also discussed.
