- Abstract
Objective: To explore the application effect of dual-tutorial teaching in medical probation graduate students of thoracic surgery. Methods: A total of 56 rotary graduate students of Grade 2011~2015 in thoracic surgery of Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were enrolled and divided into observation group and control groups, according to the random number table method. 28 patients in each group. Students in the control group were taught by traditional way with a single teacher, while students in observation group were taught by dual-tutorial teaching. After 8 weeks probation, all students were tested in theoretical test and practice operation and evaluated the satisfaction degree of teaching. Results: The theoretical test scores in two groups didn't show any significant difference (P>0.05), but the performance of observation group in practice operation was significantly higher than control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction degree in observation group was 85.71%. which was significantly higher than 60.71% in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Applying the dual-tutorial teaching in medical probation graduate students of thoracic surgery can give full play to the strengths of different physicians, guide students to leam enthusiasm, improve clinical practice effect, it is worth promoting in clinical practice.
