- Abstract
The article discusses special education law in the U.S. as of July 2012, focusing on the impact of the nation's Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) on education litigation, as well as an examination of the many special education law-related court decisions which are not readily available for research and analytical purposes. Several legal research tools are addressed, including computer-based research systems such as Westlaw, Lexis, and the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) system.
