- Abstract
A pertinent legal conception on Artifi- cial Intelligence, Androids and Robots goes through the recognition of their rational capacities, autonomy and learning; turning them into interlocutors with humanity, a situation anticipated by science fiction. These human creations, which from a heterogeneous perspective can be considered the reverse of the subjects of law, make decisions, think and act with purposes defined by their programmers, and even by themselves through complex self-learning processes. What, then, are robots, androids, and artificial intelligences? To answer this question, the idea of the subject of duties is proposed within a heterogeneous theory of the concept of person in law, for which a prospective legal dogmatic is needed, taking as reference the literary and cinematographic genre of science fiction, reflections on the possible scenarios that lie ahead in the relationship of human beings with thinking machines.
