- Abstract
The article offers information on the conference organized by the Pontifical Academy of Sciences based on the role of econometrics in formulating development plans in 1963 which represents work of Norwegian economist Ragnar Frisch. Topics discussed include econometrics as a tool for improving the human condition of living, scientific status of the model, and role of value judgment in the work of the econometrician in the practice of econometric modeling.
