- Abstract
"Book of Mormon Studies: An Introduction and Guide" is a field guide published by four BYU professors aimed at introducing non-academics, particularly members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to the academic study of the Book of Mormon. The book provides an overview of the history and development of Book of Mormon studies, breaks down the field into subfields, offers advice on navigating scholarly relationships, examines common questions about the Book of Mormon, and explores new directions in the study of the text. While the guide focuses on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it does not cover materials from other Restoration movements.
