Unlocking the power of electronic health information for public health workers in Kansas.
- Authors
Coady, Teresa R.; Willard, Gayle K.
- Abstract
The article reports on the need for public health workers in Kansas to have access to current information regarding human and animal environmental issues. Ideally, many sources must be available with varied and complex levels of information. The project was initiated March 1, 2003, and continued through August 31, 2004. Many of the workers interviewed stated that funding was not available for their organization's technology needs. A Web site and public health CD were created by project directors.
