- Abstract
OVERVIEW Blunt cerebrovascular injuries can be a source of major morbidity following injury. These injuries are rare and can be very difficult to diagnose. Patients may be asymptomatic or present with serious neurological deficits. Increasingly, successful therapy is being accomplished with catheter based techniques. We report a case of a patient who developed a carotid-cavernous fistula that presented in a delayed fashion. We also discuss the endovascular approach to his successful intervention.
