- Abstract
The article focuses on splenectomy was the only treatment for definitive splenic hemorrhage control and has controlled bleeding which made patients susceptible to infections by encapsulated bacteria. Topics include not all the patients at increased risk of developing the infections were at risk for overwhelming post-splenectomy infections, and the nonoperative management via splenic artery embolization has created to treat children of the spleen for various hematological disorders.
