- Authors

- Abstract
The article focuses on innovative projects reducing inequities in U.S. health care. It comments on the aesthetic of waiting rooms for waiting rooms in poor U.S. communities which lack books or colorful carpets and instead are cold sterile environments compared to that of private health facilities in richer areas. It mentions an intervention by graduate students Sean Howe and Lauren Toomer of Stanford School of Art to include murals that incorporate elements from local environments.
