- Abstract
The article discusses the use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in the treatment of depression. Topics include the lack of standard guidance for the use of rTMS in the treatment of depression, questions regarding the effectiveness of rTMS in the treatment of depression, and the importance of clinicians to clearly communicate the rationale for treatment decision when considering whether the use and cost of rTMS is justified.
