- Abstract
The article reports on research reviewing literature to understand the neuropsychological processes involved in interventions such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness- Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). The articles discussing neuroscience of meditative states and the effectiveness of meditation-based approaches in people with psychosis were reviewed. It is suggested that further research is needed on MBCT and MBSR interventions.
