- Abstract
The article discusses the message delivered in the short film "Spin" from the perspective of Jewish philosophy to help explain Jewish philosophy. The film "Spin" portrays a mystical disc jockey (DJ) who falls to earth and tries to bring peace to a city through his use of turntables and mixer. The identity of the DJ indicates that he is one of the fallen angels mentioned in mystical texts. The human condition, the interplay between free will and providence, and man's interactions in the nature of creation are explored through the actions of the DJ.
