- Abstract
A biography of U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Lieutenant General Homer L. Litzenberg, Jr. is presented. He was born on January 8, 1903, enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 1920, and enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corps in 1922. He served during World War II and participated in the invasion of North Africa, known as Operation Torch, and the invasion of the Marshall Islands. He also served in the Korean War. His work as a combat commander is extensively explored.
