- Abstract
The article discusses the extent and capability of contemporary laws such as the U.S. patent issued for Google for a floating data center, for controlling seafaring data havens. It provides an overview of the nature of data and information transactions in seafaring data centers and the modification of traditional trade regulation methods. Some possible mediums for data privacy prevention and relevant legal concepts to counter such possibility are analyzed.
