- Title
Free Enterprise Fund v. Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.
- Authors
Strauss, Peter L.
- Abstract
The article discusses the conflict concerning the move of petitioners at the Free Enterprise Fund to not accept the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in its entirety, arguing that it would cover up a wide range of government institutions in the U.S. It mentions that PCAOB members earn a salary higher than any government official and are free of salary restrictions. The group is also considered in certain scope a quasi-public institution that regulates investment activities.
