- Abstract
The article discusses a 30-year history of litigation and laws involving the doctrine of piercing the corporate veil (corporate veil) in America as of 2015, and it mentions litigation dealing with limited liability companies (LLCs) in the U.S., as well as information about how courts apply the corporate veil doctrine. The impact that the Great Recession in the twenty-first century had on the adjudication of corporate veil cases is examined, along with analyses of U.S. court judgments.
