The article reports on the potential applications of semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes. It is noted that carbon nanotubes, with the help of the Langmuir-Schaefer method, can be forced into extremely dense arrays that can be used to create high-performance transistors. A study by Qing Cao and colleagues published in "Nature Nanotechnology" is also discussed.
