- Abstract
The article presents a study on the occupational risk of endometriosis. Endometriosis is a symptomatic disease which affects 5% to 10% in the U.S. Furthermore, it notes that endometriosis is caused by occupational exposure to dioxins and is deemed to reduce fertility among women. The study features participants who are diagnosed with endometriosis between April 1, 1996 and March 31, 2001. It suggests that there is a risk of endometriosis for women working as a flight attendant and a nurse.
