- Abstract
The article presents a study related to Airways Hyper-Responsiveness (AHR) that is severe and persistent in an Equine model of neutrophilic asthma. It mentions that the severe equine asthma, encompasses adult horses that show overt and reversible airway obstruction at rest, AHR, chronic airway inflammation and airways remodeling. It also mentions that pasture-associated equine asthma (PA) affects horses grazing grass pastures during hot humid conditions in the southeastern U.S.
