- Abstract
The article looks at rabbinic scholarship and culture in the U.S. during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Particular focus is given to the publication of rabbinic scholarship, including casuistic works known as Hiddushei Torah, sermon collections, and legal writings. Topics discussed include the transatlantic distribution of American rabbinic literature and rabbinic periodicals.
