- Abstract
The article discusses on topics regarding health policy for primary care in the Asia Pacific region such as China, Japan and Singapore. The healthcare systems of these countries are facing challenges because of growing health costs and diminishing returns on healthcare investments. It also discusses the Healthcare reform in Shanghai which is driven by increasingly ageing population and the Japan's society that is underserved by an ill-defined primary care system.
