- Authors
Lahariya, Chandrakant
- Abstract
The article highlights the need to strengthen school health services in India, as they have not received sufficient attention and expansion in most states. The prevalence of health issues among school-age children, such as anemia and undernutrition, remains high. The article discusses two programs, RKSK and Ayushman Bharat, that aim to improve the health and wellness of school-aged children. It emphasizes the importance of comprehensive school health services and suggests an independent national evaluation of these services.
