- Title
Keep computers cool.
- Abstract
The article reports that researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Applied Materials Research (IFAM) in Dresden, Germany have developed ways to eliminate the heat by incorporating components. Researchers of the ExtraMat project have created a material which is a mixture of diamond powder and copper bonded with chrome for thermal conductivity that is 1.5 times higher than copper and expands the ceramics when heated. In addition, the project was supported with different industrial partnership with electronic products to keep and maintain the safety of computers.
