- Abstract
The article focuses on the implementation of the implantation of radio frequency identification (RFID) transmitters under the skin of sex offenders in the U.S. It states that the RFID transmitter communicate with a proximate, compatible reader and was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to be used in humans. Discussion on the Sentencing Reform Act of 1984 and the reasons for considering RFID chipping are also offered.
