The article discusses various methods utilized by teachers to develop reading skills in students. It mentions that with growth of audio and visual aid based teaching methodologies, a sharp decline in reading ability in students has been found. It mentions that students devoting significantly less time in reading skills will also confront difficulties in developing vocabulary skills. It refers to a methodology developed to improve reading skills through which students have to find the missing words that completes the meaning of the sentence.
