- Abstract
The article offers information on the third annual "Concrete for a Sustainable World" student design competition in the U.S. The competition challenges architectural students around the world to find innovative approaches that showcase the versatility and recyclability of concrete and portland cement-based materials. The event is sponsored by the Portland Cement Association (PCA) and the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA), and is administered by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA). It announces the winners for the competition, including Antonio Vigil of the University of New Mexico, who won first place in the Recycling Center category.
