- Abstract
This document is a retraction note from the journal Molecular Biology Reports regarding an article titled "The role of substance P/neurokinin 1 receptor in the pathogenesis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma through constitutively active PI3K/Akt/NF-κB signal transduction pathways." The article has been retracted due to concerns about the statistical results being based on low sample numbers and the majority of the results representing data from only two independent experiments. Additionally, some statements in the Results section lack supporting statistical analysis, and certain western blot bands in Figure 5 are cropped in a way that may misrepresent their sizes and shapes. The conclusions of the article are deemed unsupported by the presented data.
