- Abstract
The rack rail railway is a kind of traffic line specially used for undulating terrains. The contact rail is the power supply equipment of the rack railway, and it needs to meet the operation requirement for heavy grade. Aiming at the problem of contact rail sliding deformation caused by gravity load in heavy grade section, this paper, by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different central anchorage techniques, proposes a central anchorage scheme with stay wire to offset the gravity load component of the contact rail. The static simulation model of 250‰ grade contact rail with stay wire central anchor is established by using finite element method. The simulation results show that the maximum stress of the central anchor with stay wire is 94. 705 MPa and all parts meet the allowable stress requirements, which verifies the feasibility of the central anchor with stay wire in the contact rail in heavy grade section.
