- Abstract
The article assesses the spatial distribution of enhanced atrazine degradation in commercial farm fields across northeastern Colorado. Classification and Regression Tree Analysis is used to identify cultural management practices and soil bio-chemophysical attributes that are associated with such degradation. It was found that rapid atrazine degradation activity occurs in about 44 percent of the fields. The most rapid degradation rates are found in those fields that received the most frequent atrazine applications.
