- Abstract
The article presents the study on the nitrification inhibition efficiency of 3,4-dimethylpyrazol phosphate(DMPP) when applied to carbon dioxide, ammonia, nitrous oxide and nitric oxide emission from grasslands which are contain nitrogen through fertilizers. Observations from the study shows that application of DMPP reduces ammonia, nitrous oxide and nitric oxide emissions supporting the effectiveness of DMPP as a nitrification inhibitor in grasslands while it does not affect carbon dioxide emission.
