- Abstract
The article presents part two of a combined biography of the 19th-century Hungarian composer and musician Franz Liszt and memoir of the author/biographer. Details are given outlining major events throughout the subject's life and the experiences of the author in seeking to research them. Subjects addressed include a trip to the Vatican in Rome, Italy to find documentary sources on the life of Liszt, discussion of the relationship of Liszt to the princess Carolyne zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, and the composer's life in and around the city of Rome, particularly the Villa d'Este.
