- Abstract
The article focuses on the approach of Israel for national security by seeking defensible borders. It mentions that the logic behind the need for defensible borders is based on four principal threats including terrorism, conventional attacks, and mortar and rocket fire. It adds that Israel should acquire sovereignty in areas of vital military importance in the West Bank wherein the Jordan Valley must become the eastern border of Israel to create a truly defensible boundaries.
