- Abstract
In the work on the basis of computer modeling, a comparative analysis of the rolling technology of a plate billet, which includes rolling in relief rolls with subsequent rolling in rolls with a smooth barrel to the desired size, compared with the existing rolling technology (only rolling in rolls with smooth barrel) was performed. The use of relief rolls according to the proposed deformation scheme in the first stand contributes to the implementation of shear and alternating deformation during rolling in all six stands, which allows us to predict a more uniform and intensive processing of the microstructure throughout the volume of the thick-sheet blank. The results of comparison of deformation schemes using the Lode-Nadai coefficient indicate the advantage of the proposed technology compared with the current rolling technology.
