- Abstract
A compact dielectric waveguide circularly polarized filter antenna is proposed. The antenna adopts magnetic coupling technology to realize the miniaturized conversion from TEM mode to TE10 mode, and then through transition from rectangular to circular waveguide and adjustment of the circular polarization sheet,circularly polarized electromagnetic waves converted to free space with high efficiency is obtained. In the dielectric rectangular waveguide,four coupling probes with different sizes are introduced. By adjusting the size of these probes,resonant and non-resonant modes can be generated,and the desired resonant frequency,transmission zero,filter pole and inter-resonator coupling coefficient can be obtained, thus achieving low-frequency filter antenna performance with good out-of-band rejection. The measured results fully verify the rationality of the design,and the design idea also has reference significance for other multi-stage filter antennas.
