- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examined whether envelopes with handwritten addresses in green ink and postage stamps compared to post-paid envelopes with printed address labels would increase enrolment in a longitudinal study. Topics covered include comparison of the response rates between invitations with printed address labels and handwritten addresses, reply-paid mail as the preferred method of response, and finding on response rates to epidemiological studies.
