- Abstract
The article comments on a case study by M. R. Safarinejad and colleagues focusing on the association of glutathione-S-transferase gene polymorphisms (GSTM1, GSTT1, GSTP1) with idiopathic male infertility, published in the current issue of the journal. As stated, among the original aspects of the study the synergistic effects presented in it between the three polymorphisms are also important. The study as stated has opened a debate on the relevance of GSTP1 Ile105Val status in male infertility.
