- Abstract
The article presents a study which evaluates the reliability of automated total antral follicle counts (AFC) made using the 2D real-time equivalent (2D-RTE), 3D manual multiplanar view (3D-MPV), and Sono-Automatic Volume Count (SonoAVC). The study has found that measuring total AFC was best evaluated using the SonoAVC with postprocessing (sAVC-PP). The study further reveals that total AFC made with sAVC-PP remained significantly lower than counts obtained by 2D-RTE and 3D-MPV.
