- Abstract
The article offers tips and a framework for doing fetal brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination. Main indications for fetal brain MRI include a history of severe brain abnormality in a previous pregnancy, an abnormality determined on ultrasound examination, and a high risk of brain abnormality development. After acquiring consent from the mother, fetal MRI should be done using a highfield MR scanner. The diagnostic contribution of MRI is evaluated with respect to brain areas.
