- Abstract
The article presents the remedies available under federal laws in the U.S. that are applicable to urban school district funding disparity in the U.S. Topics discussed include the relationship between education underfunding and segregation in schools, the failure of schools to account for the school funding system, and the impact of outcome-based measures on school district funding. The standard of review for cases challenging school funding disparity is also discussed.
