- Authors
HAWKEN, ANGELA
- Abstract
The author comments on P. Friedmann and colleague's article "Collaborative behavioral management among parolees: drug use, crime and re-arrest in the Step'n Out randomized trial." The author is critical of the study's finding of the efficacy of contingency management (CM) to produce substantial reductions in drug-use, and its sample size of marijuana users which was only 16% of the entire sample. The author notes the need for further research on collaborative behavioral management (CBM).
