- Abstract
The article focuses on advocating for the routine implementation of long-term patient follow-up in radiotherapy units to identify late adverse effects following cancer treatment, particularly those related to the urinary tract. Topics include the prevalence and management of urosymphyseal fistulas (USFs) after pelvic radiotherapy, the need for multidisciplinary management of such complex conditions, and the importance of centralized care.
