The author comments on the article "The Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring and Research (ARMoR) program: the Department of Defense's response to escalating antimicrobial resistance" by P.E. Waterman, E.P. Lesho and U. Chukwuma published in 2014 issue of periodical "Clinical Infectious Diseases". He states that the program was launched in 2009 funded by the U.S. government which includes the collection and characterization of targeted multidrug-resistant bacteria and communication.
