- Abstract
The article discusses that in the Greater Antilles, there are 15 species of the insectivorous genus Pinguicula L., a comparatively small genus within the flora of the Greater Antilles. It mentions at some locations, plants are endangered or have destroyed by human activities such as mining, road building and construction or by climatic events such as hurricanes; and also mentions the sources of information were the large number of specimens collected as part of the Herbarium Flora de Cuba.
