The article focuses on laws governing internet privacy in the U.S. It mentions about the ability of Internet Service Providers (ISP) to implement a process known as data-mining; efforts of Federal Communications Commission in maintaining users privacy on the internet by creating ISP regulations; and enactment of Telecommunications Act and Communications Act for the same. It also mentions about Carpenter v. United States court case on the same.
