- Title
Estrategias territoriales de control político en Venezuela.
- Authors
Losada, Ana María Isidoro
- Abstract
The theoretical and conceptual starting point of this essay is the assumption that space productions are intensely competitive social processes that reflect the existing and changing power relations. In the Venezuelan context both, the modification of the spatial differentiation of power and domination, and the expansion of state control over spatial usages and appropriations are by no means accidental. Rather, the Chávez as well as the Maduro government moved both aspects in the center of their political and strategic considerations. Looking at the initiated transformation processes the contribution seeks to address the way in which the objectives of the project reflect key priorities to achieve political aims.
