- Abstract
This article presents an anthology of stories compiled by writers from Assam, India. Assam is a land where the confluence of cultures seep deep, like the powerful river Brahmaputra, which winds its way through thick forests and where humanity throngs its river bed. Assam is a neat mix of nature with traditions. Some of the books where the stories were taken include "The Special Characteristics of the Indian Northeast," and "Weaving a Web of Uniqueness, Multi-Ethnicity and Aloofness."
